Geek is the color for fall

I was in a store last week (which was still July, mind you) and they had out Halloween decorations. HALLOWEEN decorations in JULY! Ugh. How is that helpful? Now since it has rolled into August, I’m certain I’ll find Thanksgiving stuff out any day now. This is unacceptable. Life is too fast paced as it is. Can’t we enjoy holidays as they come along? For that matter, can't we enjoy the last month of summer before you kick us into fall? Why not even early September for the Halloween push? July? You have got to be kidding me, man. (And yes, I said man because I have a sneaky feeling this is another example of “the man” and his plan to “keep us down” or whatever.) Thoughts?
