Let's celebrate
It's all right
Everyone around the world come on
It's a celebration

I love Vh1! I mean it -- I really do! I mean, they have gone from a 30 something's MTV to a pop culture/music machine. I know many of you bemoan the lack of music programming on the channel and I'd have to agree that for a music channel, they are suspiciously missing MUSIC, but I love the other stuff so much that I just don't care. (Throw your hands in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care).

First off, I am officially hooked on the Surreal Life. Two words for you my friend -- Flavor Flav. That's right boooooyyyy! Fight the Power! My boy Flav is hysterical. I don’t even had adequate words to tell you how funny this cat is. Seriously -- freaking hysterical! And I also have to show love to Dave Coulier-- Uncle Joey is a rather normal sane guy that just makes great observations about others in the house. And yes, yes, y’all – Charo. Please, please, if you haven’t seen a single episode, please catch a rerun – specifically the ones where the are recording a single. I was doubled over laughing at Charo: “You gon see a for real Spanish a woman get upset!” I don’t like the others, though. But all together, they are quite amusing. As the Beastie Boys would say, “Ch-ch-check it out, wha-wha-what’s it all about?”

Second thing – Best Week Ever. Now this is a pop culture junkie’s dream come true. If you have missed your time surfing the web for entertainment, TV, movie and music news – this is the perfect place to catch up. And the comedians are very funny. Some more than others, but that’s to be expected.

And finally, VH1 is getting ready to premiere a show called Motormouth. This is a hidden camera show that follows people singing in their cars. I seriously lost my breath laughing at a preview of this show. The hidden camera shows two girls driving and the girl behind the wheel starts dancing so vigorously to “Celebration” that her passenger has to reach over and steer the car! I am horrified at the possibility of this hidden camera concept, though. I can just see myself on this show, acting a fool and singing at the top of my lungs to “Get down on it” like I was the other day. What can I say? Sometimes, after a bad day, nothing cheers me up more than to sing my little heart out on the way home!

Oh and one more thing -- LL COOL J!
