I just want your extra time
And your kiss
-- Prince
So this morning I was sitting at a red light and proceeded in typical fashion to put on my lipstick. Now this new shade I have is too stout, and always requires blotting. Unfortunately for me, I didn't have any Kleenex or anything in the car. So, obviously I had to do something, I can't roll up into work looking like a $2 --- never mind. Anyway, so I decided to use my wrist to get rid of the excess.
Now some of you girls probably do know this trick -- I think my mom taught me. Just a quick smack to the wrist and then you can rub the lipstick off with the other hand. So I commenced with this medieval form of blotting and turned to my right. Try to picture this -- me, hand bent back, palm up, my lips at the base of my hand. And then picture the guy in the car next to me that proceeded to wave because from his angle, I just blew him a kiss...
Yes, yes, y'all. This is my life. This is exactly the kind of thing that happens to me! Needless to say, the random guy and I both were mortified. I nodded and smiled in return to his wave and the light changed (thank God) and we both sped away. Bless his heart --what a way to start your day!!!!
Anyway, much love and air kisses to all of you! Hope you are doing great!
