I know if I put my mind to it
I know that I really could do it
But it's gonna take money
A whole lotta spendin' money
It's gonna take plenty of money
To do it right
It's gonna take time
A whole lotta precious time
It's gonna take patience and time
To do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right

Hello!!
Long time no post. I know, I know. I'm swamped with work. But that should be no excuse -- I should make time to post. I'll try to be better. So how's everyone? Oh who am I kidding -- I don't think anyone reads this anymore! but we must change that.
So how sad am I that Friends is about to end? I LOVE this show! And there are so many great moments that I couldn't even begin to get into them. But what's great about Friends is that sometimes the funny comes in not the major plot point of the week, but in minor plot lines and dialogue.
For example -- in the episode with Rachel's baby shower. Phoebe forgets to invite Rachel's mom (the fabulous Marlo Thomas) and she shows up but is mad. Monica spends the entire party kissing up to her to no avail. Finally Phoebe convinces Monica to tell her off. Monica does just that and does great, but starts to stumble in her argument. Phoebe, standing behind her, says, "Ok, wrap it up, wrap it up." I always laugh out loud at that. It's such a small part, but so funny!
Here's hoping Joey is funny. Hope y'all are doing great.
much love,
Ames

I'm sad to see friends go, but at the same time, 10 seasons is quite a legacy and it is going out on top. I hope Joey does as well as Frasier has. I wonder how the will revamp him.. I mean if he was the same old Joey all the time he wouldn't last a year. But, they have been tweaking him for the past couple of seasons, keeping classic Joey moments but still moving him more towards what they want him to be on his own show.
Damn, I can talk about Friends. Strange coming from a guy who *hated* it when it first came out. Now I'll watch reruns no matter how many times I've seen 'em.
Keep posting!
