Yeah, yeah, I know all of my entries of late have been serious rants about whatever irritates me, but I can't help it. ("I don't mean to pick you apart, you see, but I can't help it")

Anyway, so, today's entry will be light and fun.

What do you think it was like for the Smurfs to live in mushrooms? Do you think that cartoon was inspired by someone that was high off of mushrooms from their front yard? I mean, come on, if I ate some poisonous mushrooms, I bet I'd be seeing little blue men running around, too.

Why did Alvin and the Chipmunks go to school with all real boys and girls, and the only other chipmunks were the Chipettes?? Why did they wear nightgowns instead of shirts and pants? (I must enter a lyric here, "Christmas, Christmas time is near, time for joy and time for cheer.... Me I want a hula hoop... Please, Christmas, don't be late")

And what was the deal with the Snorkels??

Ok, what is with all the hoopla that Carly Simon auctioned off the inspiration for that song for $50,000? Really, does anyone care if it was or wasn't James Taylor? Or Mick Jagger or whoever?

You know what I want to know? Did Alanis Morissette in fact write "You Oughtta Know" about Dave Coullier or not.
