Another weekend gone. Alas, another work week is upon us. All work and no play is starting to make Amy a dull girl! but, there's hope (hopefully, anyway!) Friday is a mere 4 days away! This is me trying to be on the bright side here, people -- are you noticing?? Anyway, maybe I'll run into some kind of coolness this week!

Now, boy, have I had a crappy day. But anyway, Richard Scrushy, now he had a crappy day! Here's where I tell you guys a story ---

Last summer I came to the Magic City and interviewed at HealthSouth. The interview was great and I left thinking I had totally nailed it. I really thought I had the job, I was all getting apartment books, etc. Then, I got home and I got to thinking and praying and it occured to me that the job sounded boring as all get out, but I would still take it if offered.

I didn't get the job. Not only did I not get the job, but I didn't even get so much as a thanks for coming, but --- call, message, nothing, man. I was upset.

Wow, does God know what's best for us, or what?? I'm telling you straight up, if I had of gotten my way, I would have been working there. But because of all the serious trouble they are in I most certainly would have been fired within a couple of months.

Today was a nice reminder for me that I believe "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28.
