Happy New Year!
That kind of reminds me of Happy Birthday from Frosty the Snowman! No, don't remember? Well, I don't either, other than he says, Happy Birthday at some point and the kids try to tell him it should be Merry Christmas. Anyway, anyway, anyway, whatever. I'm just rambling. I hope you all have a very happy New Year. Be safe -- there are a ton of crazy folks out there on the road. And beware of unexpected snowfall, a la New Year's 2001! =)

For the holidays you can't beat home sweet home
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!
Hey! Just want to say that I had fun this weekend. For those of you that were there Friday, I had a ball. For those that missed it, I wish you could have been there! Anyway, I'm back at work today, but in a cheery mood nontheless. I'm very thankful for my new job and the place that I work. I drove back this morning and will be coming back home around noon tomorrow. Anyway, I hope all of you have a very merry Christmas! Hopefully, I'll see you this week.
love,
Amy

dude, check out the sky
Yesterday I saw the most amazing sunset that I had seen in forever. It was so awesome, in fact, that I had to call Breeze and pull her away those stacks of books to go outside and see it. It was red, orange, purple and blue. Have you seen the stupid Subway commercial where the dude asks the guy at the fast food counter, "Do you know that every time he sees the sunset, he cries?" Anyway, lame spot, but I've always heard that. That thing about seeing a sunset so beautiful that it brought tears to your eyes. Never has happened to me. But I was moved yesterday. I was moved by the beauty and stillness of the moment. Here I was, standing on a sidewalk in this concrete jungle and I could still feel the power of something bigger than me. God does amazing things. You just have to open your eyes to see them. This is what I'm learning.
