Hi all!

Hope you are all having a good Halloween. I hate the holiday, personally. I think it's cute for little kids to dress up and go around and get candy, but it's also scary when there are psycho freaks out there doing who knows what to the candy. When I was a kid, the old man on the corner of my street was arrested for painting pebbles to look like candy and handing it out. I was around 8 or 9 then. I'm sure I wasn't supposed to find out, but I did -- never had any use for the holiday since then. Anyway, I wanted to say that I am loving the fact that you people are reading and commenting on my rants! keep 'em coming. Isn't it amazing how when you get older the months all seem to run together? It's almost the end of October. Wild. Back in the day, to me that would mean probably midterms and football. Well, it still means football, but not much else. Oh, except my grandmother's birthday -- she turned 88! Props to her for still hanging in exactly one year after the hip breakage. And, Grace will be 25! dude, we are so old!! I mean, that's a quarter of a freakin' century!!! How did we all get old?? Here's what I'm thinking -- we spend way too much of our lives trying to get to the next thing. Oh, I'm 14, I can't wait until I'm 16 so I can drive. I'm 16, when I'm 18 I'll leave and go to college. I'm 18, when I'm 22, I'll finally be done with school. I'm 22, etc. etc. So, I've started my own little deal where I'm seriously taking it one day at a time. Baby steps -- you're less likely to trip or flat out fall on your face with those!! On a side note, sorry I haven't emailed you all. I do miss you and think of you often.(Email me -- I'm much better at responding!)

I am sitting here at my desk looking at my shiny, new HP Deskjet 960C color printer. I'm way excited. As all of you probably reading this know, it irked me to no end to not be able to print something without everyone in the damn office reading it before I could even go and fetch it! So, this is my excitement for the day. I marvelled today at my door. What power it has! I close it, and I don't hear anyone, or see anyone and I can enjoy the peace and quiet. I'm trying so very hard to keep up with my organization skills that I learned from Chris and Shortness, but it's tough. I'm already on 4 major projects and 2 minor and 3 maintanence type deals. So, I'm coping with folders. Get organized people! If you don't know how, ask your resident "Master of all things www". =) have a beautiful weekend ! I love fall!

Just wanted to say hi. I really have nothing of interest to say. I am going to go take an Octane class this morning, so that should be fun. I've been using it for 3 weeks now, so this should help me with the finer points I haven't caught on to yet. Anyway, it's Homecoming for Bama this weekend, so ROLL TIDE!

Hi! Wow! have I been super busy! I am really enjoying my new locale. Traffic, you ask? well, it does suck -- but, I'm working 7:30 to 4:30, so barring any nasty wrecks, I miss most of it. Speaking of missing -- I miss each and everyone one of you guys!! I know the feeling must be mutual, right?? RIGHT?? =) Anyway, thanks for stopping by to check my rant.
